Large antique 1896 double hunter mechanical key wind pocket watch. The case is made of 90% coin silver by Dueber. The watch mechanism is a mechanical key wind style made by the Illinois Watch Company. The watch features a porcelain face with roman numeral hour marks and, I believe, a separate seconds dial at the 6 o'clock mark. The seconds hand is missing from the dial and will need to be replaced. The inside of the watch face lid is stamped Dueber Coin 381073 with a symbol of an anchor. The inside of the case on the other side is stamped with a 4 and 381073.
Outer design is a gorgeous filigree, but has unfortunately worn over time and most of the design has gone. The original key is attached to the bail. Watch is quite heavy, weighing in at 6oz.
Watch does wind as well as tick, but I don't know the extent of its functionality.
