Crafted in Dresden, Germany during the Victorian era, these knives are a genuine original production style of art pottery. Each knife is 10" long and features hand painted floral designs with insects and an impressed backstamp that reads Levy Dresden. Each hand painted design is different from the next. Care instructions include hand washing only. The set includes four knives and is perfect for adults who appreciate unique antique pieces.
Two of the knives have broken handles as shown in the photos. The gold plating on the rim of the porcelain between the handles and the metal part of the knives are fading. The 2 broken handles, in my opinion, could easily be glued back on. If simply displayed, they will stay together on the handle in their current state, but if their intention is to be used, I would recommend gluing them.
