Stunning pair of antique Victorian 900 silver carved mother of pearl and marcasite earrings. I believe these were originally screwback earrings and the previous owner converted these to pierced earrings. The studs do not appear original to the earrings. I don't believe they contain any silver. The earring charms feature gorgeous carved mother of pearl cameos with accenting marcasite stones set in coin silver settings. The cameos are teardrop shaped and prong set into the settings from both sides. The back of the earrings are stamped 900.
