Vintage Capodimonte Italy Hand Painted M & R Pierced Filigree Nude Scene Bowl.
Gorgeous vintage Capodimonte rectangular bowl featuring a nude art scene with an adult female and children around her. The sides of the dish feature pierced filigree scrollwork designs with gold trim accenting the floral sprays and swirls. Capodimonte Italy is hand written on the bottom with a blue and silver metallic sticker that reads Hand Painted M & R with additional writing underneath, but sadly, the bottom of the sticker is ripped off. The piece measures approximately 10 1/4" long and 6 13/16" wide. There's a couple small chips on the corners of the dish and some minor fading of the gold trim.
