Vintage Chinese cherry hardwood jewelry box featuring blue enamel flower motif and brass corners and hardware.
This beautiful piece is approximately 6.5" x 4" x 3". It's made of cherry hardwood. The top of the box has a metal plate positioned in the middle. The plate is enameled with a royal blue color with filigree work and an orange flower in the center and buds on the upper and lower side of the plate as well as green leaves accenting the flowers. The corners and bottom half of the box have brass accents that have engraved designs of flowers and leaves. The lock features a double ring design and the mechanics are fluid and function perfectly. The inside of the box is stuffed and lined with a red floral fabic. There's a ring tray and open tray for jewelry.
The underside of the box has a sticker that reads "made in Shanghai China and repeated in Spanish. There's also a tiny plaque on the back of the box at the bottom that reads Shanghai China
