Vintage Chinese Red And White Gold Plated Dragon And Phoenix Double Tea Set.
This listing is for 2 tea sets with the same design. These beautiful tea sets are white with a dragon and phoenix design. The dragons and phoenixes are painted in red, green and pink and each dish is plated in gold over a large portion of the piece. The set includes 2 teapots, 6 saucers, 6 larger teacups and 4 smaller teacups. One set consists of the smaller teapot, 6 saucers and 6 larger cups. The other set consists of the large teapot and 4 smaller teacups. All of the pieces are in very good condition. The only noticeable wear is some extremely minor chipping of the gold plating on 1 teacup. The rest of the pieces appear to be in mint condition. There is, of course some very tiny hairline surface scratches on the gold plating on all pieces that's almost a guarantee with precious metals. (This is what causes your jewelry's shiny polish to cloud over time and lose that mirror shine).
