Vintage Johnson Brothers English Ironstone Athena White Line Pattern Plate Set.
Set of 10 vintage Johnson Brothers English Ironstone plates in the Athena pattern which features an all white plate with straight lines impressed into the edges of the ironstone. The set includes 8 bread and butter plates in 2 similar sizes and 2 dinner plates. One dinner plate and 3 of the bread & butter plates are stamped with the green Athena mark and the remaining plates are stamped with the gray Johnson Brothers mark. A couple of the pieces have small chips in the edges. The dinner plates measure approximately 10" and the bread & butter plates measure 6 1/4" and 6 7/16" in diameter.
