This is a vintage serving bowl made by S.C. Co in Akron, Ohio during the early 20th century. The bowl is made of white stoneware and features an embossed grapes & leaves pattern with gold-plated decorative accents. It has a glossy finish and measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter. The bowl is an original piece and was produced using the art pottery technique. It is hand wash only and bears a printed backstamp.
There's some crazing throughout the glaze and some extremely minor fading on the design and gold plating.
