Vintage Taxco Mexico Alpaca Silver Abalone Inlay Animals & Shape Cocktail Forks.
Beautiful vintage Taxco Mexico Alpaca silver abalone shell inlay collectors cocktail forks. The tops feature different animals and shapes with abalone shell inlay. These are made of alpaca silver (no actual silver content). They have a high polish but looks like real silver. They measure an average of 3 3/4" long but differ in length by a few fractions of an inch. All seem to have the abalone still in tact. As with age, some small pieces may fall out. These were all handmade and not perfectly filled with shell
