Vintage Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Abalone Star Stamped Inlay Brooch Pendant.
Gorgeous vintage sterling silver Taxco Mexico abalone inlay tribal brooch pendant. This piece features tribal style designs inlaid with abalone shell. The bottom features an extended scalloped edge with "fingers" etched into the silver. The outer edge of the disc is stamped with traditional stamp designs of stars and joined half circles. The back features a standard brooch attachment as well as a loop to wear the piece as a pendant. The back is stamped Mexico 925 - MR
The inlaid abalone has some cracking in many of the pieces, but all are intact. The pieces may be reinforced with some jeweler's resin to ensure it doesn't come out.
