Vintage Taxco Mexico sterling silver turquoise circle brooch. This beautiful piece features round turquoise cabochons arranged in a circle and set in solid sterling silver. The back is stamped "HECHO EN MEXICO 925" and the initials of the artist. I can't make out the full initials, but the first letter looks to be an A, then possibly an O for the second letter.

One of the turquoise cabs had come loose and fell out. The original stone was still with the piece and I have since replaced it and burnished the bezel back over the stone to secure it. The pin is also slightly out of shape, but doesn't interfere with the function of the brooch.
